Bespoke Toolbox Project

As well as custom sling pack design, Route unknown also offers a fully bespoke service working with you on a range of technical design projects. Recently we completed a tool storage layout for Nathan, who is a world cup mountain bike mechanic.

The build took 70 hours of research, sourcing, prototyping and making! Each panel is made from  X-Pac VX21 in carbon and grey 1000d mil-spec Cordura, layered over 2mm HDPE sheeting. The panels are finished with Mislpec Met grey webbing, Mil-spec wolf grey bungee webbing, Cherry red 550 paracord, Fidlock hardware, Ykk zips and mil-spec velcro.
